A clinician and a public health specialist in the school of Clinical Medicine.  He has training in Public Health from the University of South Wales and Mount Kenya University. He also has a Masters in Medical sociology from the University of Nairobi. His research interests include implementation research, maternal and child health, social determinants of health and health inequalities, cancer epidemiology and other non-communicable diseases, neglected tropical diseases.
