A Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of Medical Physiology, holding an MBChB and an MSc in Medical Physiology. She teaches human physiology and contributes to academic leadership and curriculum development. Her research focuses on neurophysiology, particularly neural injury and regeneration in the central and peripheral nervous systems. She conducted a Kenyan case-control study on the effects of mild COVID-19 on respiratory neuromuscular function using phrenic nerve conduction studies, diaphragm ultrasound, and spirometry. Her work aims to advance translational neurophysiology and improve rehabilitation outcomes. She enjoys swimming, outdoor activities, and watching movies.
