Prof Ramalingam Ramani is a professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, School of Pharmacy, Mount Kenya University. His teaching expertise is in handling medicinal chemistry and analytical techniques involving HPLC, FTIR, NMR and Mass- spectroscopy. His research area of interest includes drug discovery from natural products against cancer, treatment options for CNS disorders and clinical research involving cancer patients. Currently, He is the research head for the School of Pharmacy and coordinates the research activities in school. He is supervising graduate, postgraduate and doctoral students for their successful completion of research projects.
