Dr. Dennis Jack Opwoko is a Pharmacist with a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Mount Kenya University, Kenya and MSc. specialization in Pharmacology and Toxicology from University of Nairobi, Kenya. He is the head of department Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy of Mount Kenya University, Kenya. A part from passion in Academia, Pharmaceutical and Clinical Research, he has great interest in drug design and development towards combating emerging human resistant pathogens using medicinal plants. With his knowledge in Pharmacology and Toxicology he was able to manufacture dermatological preparations and organic soaps with a great focus to combat antimicrobial resistance.
He has formulated Acne lotions from Tea tree oil, Stretch marks lotion from essential oils, anti-dandruff lotion from essential oils, Lotion for varicose veins, Sunscreen lotion from essential oils, Dark spot lotions from essential oils, Hair growth formulation from essential oils, Goat milk lotion for eczema, butters for skin conditions, several essential oils with medicinal value formulations, shampoo and organic soaps with several dermatological products still under research.
