Dr. Godfrey K. Keru is the deputy director Graduate studies, Thika campus. He has a Ph.D in chemistry from University of Kwazulu-Natal (SA), MSc. (Chemistry) and Bed. Sci (Hons) from Kenyatta University (Kenya). His Research interest include synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles for application in energy harvesting, Gas storage, Photo-catalysis and drug delivery. He is a member of Kenya Chemical Society and South Africa Chemical Institute and by-extension Royal Chemical Society. Dr. Keru is well published in peer reviewed Journal and has hand on experience (manipulate and troubleshoot) Electron microscopes which include and not limited to transmission electron microscopes, Scanning electron microscopes and atomic force microscopes. He has also won several grants which include College of Agriculture, Engineering and Science scholarship, India Brazil and South Africa energy project and was also part of the group that won Seedling Laboratory equipment’s for Mount Kenya University. In the community service he is a member of management in the board of Mukui Primary.
